Geocache Description:

There was a Saxon church at Hinxhill recorded in Doomsday Moratorium (1070) with the main structure of the church was all in place before the Reformation. It is known as the Snowdrop Church . In early Spring the snowdrops cover much of the church yard. The earliest documents relating to Hinxhill is circa 864. The hamlet has a variety of charming listed buildings and cottages. You are looking for a 35mm film canister - which is hidden outside the church grounds Inside this cache there is a laminate with co-ordinates for GC2G3AD ‘Hinx Minx’, which can be found nearby. Please replace laminated coordinates and leave in Church Micro canister. Thank you Please take care when replacing caches - fasten securely and hide well - Many thanks The cache has a log book but no room for pen so bring one along. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * If any body would like to expand to this series please do, I would just ask that you could let Sadexploration know first so he can keep track of the Church numbers and names to avoid duplication * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Congratulations to The Boddingtons on FTF Latest maintenance mission ..... 14 April 2017
