Geocache Description:

Michigan's Second Oldest Chirp Cache

The cache you are looking for is not at the posted coordinates. Instead the posted coordinates will take you to a trail marker. This will be your starting point.

When you arrive at the trail head you will notice six or seven evergreen trees.

Walk amongst these trees.

You just might hear a bird singing a song.

That song will tell you where the Geocache is hidden.

Once you know where to find the cache please walk back to the trail head and use the trail.

This Geocache makes use of a device known as a Garmin Chirp. In order to "hear" the Garmin Chirp you will need a compatible Garmin device with the latest firmware update.

The Garmin devices that currently communicate with Chirp are the Oregon, Dakota and GPSMAP models. The latest firmware for these devices can be acquired using Garmin's Webupdate tool. Compatibility can be checked here:here
