Geocache Description:

WARNING!!!
Cache is located deep inside an old mining tunnel. Make sure you are prepared before attempting this cache

The tunnel is located off of FR 356 west of Hands Pass. A minimum of a high-clearance vehicle will get you to the entrance; otherwise, you will have a bit of a hike.

Posted coordinates will lead you to the tunnel entrance.
The find should not be too difficult once you get ~1/2 of a mile into the tunnel.
Here is how to find it:
- At the first Y intersection you encounter stay left
- Continue along the path that is straight in front of you (do not take any of the right or left offshoots)
- For part of this you will be following some piping on the ground (but this information should not be necessary)
- You will have to pass over a pile of dirt/rubble with a large void open above you
- When you reach a T intersection where the path straight does not look as easy as the path you are on, turn left (there is actually a wooden arrow on the ground pointing back towards the entrance)
- The cache is just past the first pile of rocks under an 18" railroad tie

On your journey take note of the interesting rocks and minerals. There also appears to be the remnants of a rail system on the ground once you get deep enough.

Please be sure you are prepared!!!
- Do not go alone
- Tell someone where you are going
- Bring adequate lights and backups
- Bring food and plenty of water
- Bring a pen as I forgot to have one to leave

You will be in a mining tunnel so you may encounter:
- Creatures (we did not)
- Loose rocks (definitely some of these)
- Low clearances (not really an issue)

While the hike in the tunnel is actually pretty easy, there are inherent risks associated with entering abandoned tunnels. You are attempting this cache at your own risk. I can not be held responsible for injuries whether due to negligence or mother nature.
You have been WARNED!!!
