Motorway Mayhem: M4 Leigh Delamere W Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

The Odyssians: There seems to be a vagrant living close by. Not the place for a cache so not renewing it. Thanks to all who visited. Time to go now. Happy caching. 😎

How Geocaching Works

Geocache Description:

The cache is to be found at Leigh Delamere services (westbound) which is a motorway service station on the M4 motorway situated one mile west of Junction 17, between Bristol and Swindon (close to Chippenham and Malmesbury). It takes its name from the adjoining village of Leigh Delamere.

If you are driving east bound there is a footbridge which links the two sides. Interestingly the eastbound side, built in 1972, is ten years older and slightly larger than the westbound side. There is another cache on the eastbound side GC14Z0E (earthcache) should you be adventurous. Whichever side you're on, unless arriving by coach or HGV, the loos are at the far end! Set as a diversion from visiting the services. Enjoy. Further motorway caches can be found here

You are looking for a camouflaged small clip lock box with log.

Please replace the cache carefully. Please do not replace it too high.

Congratulations to Cave Dwellers for FTF

If you are up for a short walk from the services, the Church Micro http://coord.info/GC4EC2J is worth a visit.
