Magnetic Nano - BRING A PEN - NO SIGNATURE = NO LOG
Inspired by the Motorway Mayhem series, A-Road Anarchy caches are meant to be nice easy stops to break up a journey, and maybe a chance to show off some local features that are normally hidden close to those busy A-Roads.
The cache is situated just off the busy A.612 / A.6097 roundabout.
You can see the large playing fields across the road (where Lowdham Cricket Club play) from the cache site, as well as the Magna Carta Pub.
The nearby Dover Beck appears to be a very quiet little stream, but has been responsible for some pretty devastating flooding, if you have time to walk across the road to the playing fields you can see that the surrounding walls have been placed in order to turn the fields into an emergency flood plain, and there is a depth gauge at the bridge where the beck runs underneath the A.612.
