Many geocachers have found large numbers of caches, filled in
their ’81-matrix’ or found an arbitrary number of
caches with an arbitrary name, attribute or within a designated
time frame. But what makes a ‘Well Rounded Cacher?” I
contend that a cacher who has limited themselves to only one or two
types of caches is missing out on some of the challenges of
geocaching.
To log this cache as a find you must find one hundred or more
caches in each of any five of the nine cache types listed:
Traditional, Multi-cache, Unknown. LetterBox Hybrid, Virtual, Event
(any Event including CITO), EarthCache, WebCam, and Wherigo.
I’ve excluded Locationless caches because they cannot be
logged anymore, and there are not enough A.P.E. or GPS Maze Exhibit
caches to qualify. Some of these cache types are rare in the area;
you’ll have to seek them out as you travel. Now you have a
reason to find more than just the traditionals in your path!
On the day you log your find your profile page should
demonstrate that you have found the required caches. Good luck,
enjoy….
