Geocache Description:

Short Description: A magnetic cache and dash placed near Langley Green Rail Station

About SideTracked
We have Motorway Mayhem. We have A-Road Anarchy and even Village Vexation. Now a series for public transport users! SideTracked Caches are intended to provide quick cache-and-dashes at train stations.
History
The station was opened on 1 May 1885 by the Great Western Railway on the Birmingham to Stourbridge Junction line. Great Western Railway also ran a branch line to Oldbury, which was opened in 1885, and closed to passenger traffic on 3 March 1915. Road traffic still has to pass over the old branch line bridge. The line from Smethwick West through to Snow Hill closed in 1972 and was reinstated in 1995.
Services
Local services are frequent, with limited stop trains not stopping at the station.
About the Cache
Easy parking adjacent to the cache, please park clear of the bus stops. I hope you know the nuts and bolts of geocaching.
