IEEE Day is a global event on 7
October 2010, in recognition of IEEE members — past, present
and future — on the anniversary of the first time IEEE
members gathered to share their technical ideas in 1884.
To find the location of this geocache
you’ll have to find the answers to some easy questions. You
will learn that IEEE has different regions and in every region a
geocache will be placed. In every geocache of this IEEE geocache
series a code is hidden, which you will need to find the bonus
cache.
Please do not post the code in your
log or anywhere else. Don’t share the code with everyone, but
try to form some kind of international geocache team and work
together to find the location of the bonus cache. This cache is
about sharing ideas, working together and forming global networks,
just like IEEE!
A= The IEEE name was originally an
acronym for …… Today, the organization's scope of
interest has expanded into so many related fields, that it is
simply referred to by the letters I-E-E-E (pronounced
Eye-triple-E).

You can find the cache at: N 51°

To unlock the cache you need to use a
code: (A+D)(E+F)(C+J)(B+H)

The cache is big enough for exchange
of all kinds of goodies, but we appreciate it when the goodies are
somehow related to technology and/or IEEE. And don’t forget
to note the code for the bonus cache!
Did you know about IEEE? Are you a
member? Or perhaps technology is not for you?
Please tell us all about it in your log!
