The memorial is commemorating the people who fell while fighting
against the nazis. Please be very careful while crossing the
road or when you search for a place to park your car as the road
next to the memorial is pretty busy.
You can also visit the nearby Petropavlovski monastery and the
towns of Lyaskovets, Gorna Oryahovitsa and Veliko Tarnovo. Have
fun! In Lyaskovets you can see the only museum in Bulgaria
dedicated to gardening.
