Výchozí souřadnice Vás zavedou ke kříži
poblíž bývalé panské cihelny, nacházející se při
cestě z Kvasic na Sulimov a Karolín. Kříž je z obou
stran zastíněn starými lípami. Přesná doba založení
cihelny není známa. Nejstarší dochovaná zmínka o
cihelně pochází z roku 1631, kdy hrabě Jan Rottal
osvobozuje své poddané, kteří chovají koně, od
vožení dříví do cihelny a vožení cihel. Další
písemné zprávy pocházejí až z devatenáctého století. Z
počátku byly cihly vyráběny ručně, v roce 1930
byla cihelna zmodernizována a byla zavedena strojní výroba cihel.
Poslední cihla byla v cihlárně vyrobena v roce 1964, kdy se
stalo majitelem cihelny místní JZD a přeměnilo cihelnu na
sušárnu píce. V okolí cihelny jsou však dodnes patrná
místa, kde se těžila cihlářská hlína.
Kříž u bývalé cihelny je druhým ze tří
křížů, které prý byly podle pověsti postaveny
na ochranu před duchem prokletého drába, se kterým jste se
mohli seznámit u kešky Tabarky. I na zdejším kříži je
zobrazen Kristus s hlavou otočenou na levou stranu, což
je přinejmenším neobvyklé, neboť na
většině křížů má Kristus hlavu
otočenou vpravo. Na zadní straně kříže je
nečitelný nápis s letopočtem, ve kterém byl
kříž údajně posvěcen farářem Matějem
Moritzem. Tento letopočet budete potřebovat pro nalezení
bonusové kešky celé série (GC2FR4Z).
Protože je ale špatně čitelný, najdete jej i
v kešce (na logbooku).

Keš na úvodních souřadnicích nehledejte.
Kříž si můžete prohlédnout, ale snažte se
být nenápadní. Poblíž se nacházejí obytné domy a zdejší
mudlové nejsou příliš rádi, když jim někdo
šlape po kytičkách okolo kříže. V
žádném případě se nepokoušejte kříž
nebo cihelnu rozebírat! K vypočtení souřadnic, na
kterých je keška ukryta, budete muset nejprve vypátrat
přesné datum narození prvního autora výše citované
knihy. Jak to uděláte, to už je na Vás. Můžete
zkusit hledat na internetu nebo třeba pana spisovatele
kontaktovat a zeptat se ho osobně. Ze zjištěného
data ve tvaru AB.CD.EFGH (den.měsíc.rok) následně
vypočítáte finální souřadnice:

The initial coordinates point to a cross near an old brick
factory, on the road from Kvasice to Sulimov and Karolin. The cross
is shadowed by a pair of grown lime trees. The exact year of the
brick factory floatation is not known. The most ancient mention
about it comes from the year 1631, when the earl Jan Rottal
liberated his retainers who bred horses from carrying wood to the
brick factory and from carrying bricks. The next written mentions
come as late as from the nineteenth century. The bricks were
manufactured here manually from the beginnings, but the brick
factory was modernized in the year 1930 and a mechanical production
of bricks was introduced. The last brick was produced here in the
year 1964, when the brick factory came to a new holder - a local
agricultural cooperative, and was transformed to a fodder dryer.
Nevertheless, places where the brick clay was mined can be found in
the brick factory surroundings up to present days.
The cross near the old brick factory is the second one from the
three crosses, which were build (as is said in a legend) to the
protection against a ghost of cursed catchpoll, whose you could
already meet aboard the cache Tabarky. Christ on the cross here have also his
head turned to the left side, which is at least unusual, because
the most of crosses shows Christ with head turned to the right.
There is an unreadable inscription on the back side of the cross.
The year in the inscription is supposed to indicate dedication of
the cross by the pastor Matthew Moritz. You will need this year for
location of the bonus cache of this series (GC2FR4Z). Because
the year can be read with difficulty, it is also written in the
cache (on the logbook).

Do not search the cache on the initial coordinates. You can take
a view of the cross, but try to be discreet. There are houses not
so far and local muggles do not like when someone tread plants
around the cross under foot. Do not try to disassemble the cross
nor the brick factory in any case! For the calculation of final
coordinates, you have to discover the birthday of the first author
of the above cited book. How to do it? It is your task. You may
find it on the Web or you can try to ask him in the flesh. Write
the found birthday as AB.CD.EFGH (day, month, year) and
calculate the final coordinates:
