Geocache Description:

Here it is... GeoWoodstack #1. Many of you have heard about it but nobody has experienced it. Are you ready for a red hot event? Are you ready for some live music? If so, then you are ready for GeoWoodstack #1.

The event will start around 6pm but no rush to be here right on time. Come early for prime parking but if you do... be ready to help. If you have some wood you want to burn... bring it. Sunset is at 6:44pm so we will light the fire around 7:15pm. You do NOT want to miss the lighting of the fire... it can be a spectacular event (or a disaster). Either way, it will be something to talk about.

Bring some food (extra if you can) & bring your own preference of drinks (I will have a few cases of bottled water)... I will have tables set up for the food and I will supply the paper products (plates, napkins, forks and cups). You can cook hotdogs and roast marshmallows (once the fire dies down) until the sun comes up if you like. Bring a tent and camp around the fire or just stay for a little while and enjoy the night with friends. Don't forget to bring a chair or you can just take a seat on my log benches or spread out on the ground.

If you play music, bring your equipment and if you sing, join in. I plan to have a mini stage set up complete with a sound system and microphones. We will have an open mike for ANYBODY who wants to play. My daughter will be in town for this and she is planning to play as much she can but the stage is open to EVERYONE. I will be updating this page periodically to add events and info so check back often... We may even have a lineup of people who will be playing.
