On September 12th Zygote2k and I made our way around the park
and saw all it had to offer. At the end of the day we went for the
nearby GSA cache and afterward we made the trek to the overlook. I
thought to myself that most cachers will just negate the extra .12
walk to see the best view in the park after one of the most
interesting short hikes in the park (the geology of the incline
that is). So with this cache I am forcing you to go the extra
length for the find.
Why is it called Barfly's Overlook you say? At the overlook
while waiting for the GPS to average waypoints we were greeted by
two women who were very entertaining company and mentioned that
they carry a barfly like traveler with them wherever they go, sadly
however he was at the camp. The women were very interested in
geocaching and camp at this park frequently so hopefully the next
time they come out here they will log the cache dedicated to
them!
