cachehunny: I visited this cache today, and i have to say , what i saw at GZ broke my geocaching heart into a thousand pieces. It is with much regret that i am archiving this cache from what was once a beautiful peace of countryside. After speaking with the assistant manager of Tesco in Leatherhead the vandalism and littering is an ongoing problem that doesn't look like being solved anytime soon.
When i hid this cache this was a beautiful little spot that i was so excited about introducing my fellow cachers too, but now it is nothing more than a rubbish tip. I apologise to all those of you who witnessed the utter mess and destruction of what was GZ for ' isn't it obvious', and have set the wheels in motion for a CITO event, as i feel it is no longer a case of who is to blame, but , what can we do to put this right and make it a beautiful spot once more.
