Cache obnovena a mirne premistena. Pozor, obrovsky mudloprovoz. Logujte bud maskovane (batoh, kolo, spolukaceri) nebo v dobe, kdy okolo nikdo neni. Cache venovana soutoku rek Svratky a Svitavy, jihu Brna a Olympia Parku.

CACHE, OBTIZNOST A TEREN
Pozor, obrovsky mudloprovoz. Logujte bud maskovane (batoh, kolo, spolukaceri) nebo v dobe, kdy okolo nikdo neni (napr. v noci, v zime, rano... ). Vikendy a svatky budou nejhorsi.
Cache je velikosti small. Tematem naplne kese jsou skolni potreby, popripade privesky na klice apod., pokud se vejdou. Udrzujte prosim hodnotu naplne kese a vzdy v ni nechejte alespon jednu psaci potrebu. Predmety a kupony Subway je mozno brat bez vymeny, ale po jednom. Obtiznost je lehka, teren taky, bude to tezsi asi za vlhka, deste a v zime. Az primo ke kesi se dostanete na kole, bruslich, i s kocarkem. Motocykly muzete zaparkovat pouze jako automobily, na parkovisti u OC Olympia.
CESTA
Cache je kompletne drive-in, vhodne je „zadni-svratecke“ parkoviste u Olympie, kde byva snaze k nalezeni volne misto, v podstate vzdycky. Da se tam samozrejme dojet na kole a na inline bruslich
(cyklostezky „Brnenské kolecko“ a cyklotrasa „Praha-Brno-Wien“) jakozto i dojit pesky. MHD je mozno zvolit nasledovne: BUSy 49, 73, 78 a 510 do zastavky Modrice – Olympia, pripadne Olympia bus (zdarma) ze zastavky Uzka tamtez nebo bus 49 do zastavky Prizrenice, smycka.
SOUTOK REK
Tato cache je venovana soutoku rek Svratka a Svitava v jizni casti mesta Brna – mestske casti Prizrenice. Soutok se nachazi na same hranici mesta a obce Modrice. Zakladani osad na soutocich rek je typicke snad pro vsechny civilizace. I kdyz, prvni osidleni oblasti Brna lidmi se datuje jiz pred 100 000 lety, v dobe stredniho paleolitu, a to v jeskynkach na Stranske Skale na vychode dnesniho Brna a samozrejme take v jeskynich Moravskeho krasu na sever od Brna. Zhruba v patem stoleti naseho letopoctu pobyvali na jihu dnesniho Brna Keltove, zhruba od letopoctu 800 – 1 000 muzeme mluvit o slovanskem osidleni. Nazev mesta Brno znel puvodne slovansky „Brnije“, germansky a pozdeji nemecky pak „Brünn“. To muze mimo jine znamenat bahno, bazinu ci vlhkou pudu a z tohoto nazvu lze usuzovat na to, ze Keltove ci prvni Slovane se usidlili prave v okoli soutoku Svratky a Svitavy. Slovanske osidleni cca od roku 1 000 na brezich Svratky na miste dnesniho Stareho Brna (nedaleko dnesniho centra) je pak jiz prokazano. Okolo soutoku je zajimavy biotop, a na pohled hezka priroda, zcasti vsak zemedelsky a developersky vyuzivana.
SVRATKA A SVITAVA
Reka Svratka prameni na uboci kopcu Krivy Javor a Zakova Hora ve Zdarskych vrsich ve vysce 772 mnm v kraji Vysocina. Zahy vsak pokracuje do Jihomoravskeho kraje. Jeji delka toku je 174 km a plocha povodi 7119 km2. Prumerny prutok v korytu reky je 27,2 m3 s–1. Svratka usti do Vestonicke nadrze (tez zname jako Vodni nadrz Nove Mlyny II), kterazto je prostredni ze tri navazujicich nadrzi vodniho dila Nove Mlyny. Ta pak na nadmorskou vysku 163 mnm. Z Novych Mlynu pak pokracuje reka Dyje.
Svratka patri do umori Atlantskeho oceanu / Cerneho more a do povodi Dunaje, Moravy a Dyje a jeji hydrologicke poradi je tedy 4-15-01-001.
Reka Svitava prameni v Pardubickem kraji u obce Javornik, nedaleko mesta Svitavy, ve vysce 472 mnm. Tece na jih do Jihomoravskeho kraje, kde severne od Brna proteka krasnym, uzkym a hlubokym udolim Moravskeho krasu. Na Svitave lezi nekolik prumyslovych mestecek a mest (Svitavy, Blansko, Letovice, Adamov a Brno), jejichz tovarny (zejmena papirny, pily, textilky a kozeluzny) vodu a energii z ricniho toku hojne vyuzivaly a nektere vyuzivaji dodnes. Po 98 km toku ve vysce 191 mnm. usti Svitava do Svratky v Brne-Prizrenicich, jakozto levostranny pritok ve smeru toku. Plocha povodi Svitavy cini 1150 km2. Prumerny prutok mereny v Bilovicich nad Svitavou (mila mala obec cca 10 km severne od Brna) cini 5,2 m3 s–1.
Svitava patri do umori Atlantskeho oceanu / Cerneho more a do povodi Dunaje, Moravy, Dyje a Svratky. Jeji hydrologicke poradi je tedy 4-15-02-001.
Obe reky jsou vodacky vyuzitelne, zejmena na hornich a strednich tocich, je to ovsem problematicke a plavba je urcena pouze zkusenym a velmi dobrodruznym vodakum. Na nekolika mistech obou rek je plavba zakazana, obe reky tam slouzi jako zdroje pitne vody. Jezy na rekach nemaji slajsny a je nutne lode prenaset, pro plavbu jsou jezy nesmirne nebezpecne. Obe reky jsou tez hodne zarostle, meandruji v uzkem korytu a muze byt problem i se stavem a prutokem vody. Da se take rici, ze obe reky postradaji jakoekoliv vodacke zazemi. Nedavno byly zaznamenany pokusy o renesanci vodactvi na rece Svratce pri prutoku Brnem, i zde jsou vsak nebezpecne jezy a nesplavna mista, zazemi zatim taktez chybi.
JIH BRNA
Jak lze z vyse psaneho vyvodit, jih Brna byl donedavna pomerne zanedbavanou casti, nabizejici snad jen industrialni brownfieldy, zemedelskou pudu a developerske arealy predhozene vsanc logistickemu a maloobchodnimu prumyslu. Dnes je vsak snad mozne tuto situaci zmenit. Podel obou rek na jihu Brna vznikly cyklo-inline-stezky a zacinaji zde podnikat hospudky i dalsi sluzby. Peci o zdejsi zivotni prostredi se taktez dostava zvysene pozornosti. Nezbyva nez doufat, ze krome logistickeho zazemi zde budou budovany take nove byty a sidla obcanske vybavenosti, ze tu i nejaka urodna zemedelska puda zustane, a podel obou rek bude ponechan puvodni biotop, ci alespon vzniknou parky a zona odpocinku s „ricnimi“ hospudkami a dalsimi sluzbami pro vyletniky. Kdysi slavnym tovarnam, nyni opustenym brownfieldum podel Svitavy nelze prat nic jineho, nez nove, odvazne, solventni a hlavne napadite investory, kteri (at uz prestaveji stare fabriky na loftove byty ci nova centra podnikani) celou oblast vyznamne ozivi.
OC OLYMPIA A OLYMPIA PARK
V roce 1996 bylo postaveno obchodni centrum Olympia, ktere v te dobe predstavovalo ojedinely projekt „opravdoveho shopping-mallu“ americkeho strihu, s promenadou, radou obchudku a butiku, multikinem a bowlingem, dale pak s fast-foodovymi i beznymi restauracemi a detskym koutkem. Centrum bylo nekolikrat rozsireno (i o dalsi obchodni budovy zejmena nabytkoveho a sportovniho zamereni s prilehlymi parkovisti, coz s sebou pochopitelne neslo jiste otazky ohledne ochrany zivotniho prostredi a zemedelskeho pudniho fondu). Dnes je vsak Olympia prirozenym prestupnim uzlem integrovane regionalni hromadne dopravy a konaji se zde i ruzne spolecenske akce, jak kulturni, tak sportovni. Mnoho Brnanu voli pro bezne nakupy klidnejsi nakupni centra, avsak chteji-li spojit nakupy v zajimavych obchodech, jidlo a zabavu, miri do Olympie. Ta se tez stala velmi zajimavym centrem pro obyvatele okolnich „pri-brnenskych“ vesnic i mnoha dalsich jizneji polozenych vesnic a mest na Morave. Casto ma Olympia tez slovenske a rakouske navstevniky. V roce 2009 probehlo zatim posledni vyznamne rozsireni o tzv. „zadni“ cast a dalsi parkoviste smerem k rece Svratce a v roce 2010 je hotov Olympia Park – misto pro zabavu a oddech zejmena pro rodiny s detmi. Olympia byla napojena na svrateckou a svitavskou cyklostezku, kterou vyuzivaji hojne tez in-line bruslari i chodci. Olympia Park pak nabizi moderni detske prolezacky (odstupnovane pro deti ruzneho veku, az skoro pro dospele =) ), kulove bludiste, maly vlacek, peknou parkovou upravu a naucnou stezku se zajimavymi stromy (javory, jeraby –vcetne jerabu oskeruse–, lipy, jilmy, atd.). Ty byly nedavno zasazeny, tudiz je zde ojedinela moznost je sledovat v dlouhem casovem obdobi v jejich rustu. Vznika i „regionalni biocentrum soutok Svratky a Svitavy“, ktere je zarazeno do systemu USES (uzemni system ekologicke stability). V Olympia Parku je tez bruslarsky oval (napojeny na cyklostezky) a horolezecka stena. V zime je na casti „zadniho-svrateckeho“ parkoviste instalovano kluziste pro klasicke brusle. Pripraven je i maly amfiteatr pro venkovni kulturni predstaveni.

CACHE, DIFFICUILTY AND TERRAIN
Beware, giant moodletraffic! Log either camouflaged (bag, bike, etc.) or in times, when nobody is around (night, winter, mornings). Weekends and holidays will be the worst.
Cache is sized as small. The topic of the filling is the small school things. Please keep the value level of the cache filling and always keep at least one pen or pencil in. The Subway things and coupons you can take without any replacement, but please one per each cacher.The difficuilty is easy, terrain too, slightly harder conditions may be assumed when wet, rainy or in winter. You can reach the very box of cache on bike or inline skates, also with stroller.
Motorbikes and choppers you can park only as cars, on the Olympia Mall parking lot.
THE WAY
Cache is completely drive-in, the „backdoor“ parking lot of Olympia Mall is very suitable, since it is near and usually free. You can reach the place by bike or inlines or on foot. If you want to use a bus, take the 49, 73, 78 or 510 bus to the stop of Modrice – Olympia, you can laso use the Olympia bus (which is free of charge) from the stop Uzka to the same stop. The bus 49 to the stop Prizrenice, smycka (loop) is a possibility too.
RIVER JUNCTION
This cache is dedicated to the juction of the Svratka [sver-atkah] and Svitava [svee-tah-vah] rivers in the souther part of the city of Brno – the Prizrenice community. The juncton is located on the very border of the city of Brno and town of Modrice. Probably each of the first civilizations have build their seats on the river junctions. Even if the first habitation of the Brno territory is dated to the Middle Paleolithic (about 100 000 years ago) in the small cave at the Stranska Skala rock. About the 5th century AD the Celtic peole have lived in the southern parts of today’s Brno, roughly since 800 – 1 000 AD we are able to speak about Slavonic tribes staying here. The city name Brno sounded originally slavonic like „Brnije“ [berr-nee-eh], in teuton and later german languages then „Brünn“ [bree-n]. In can mean the mud, swamp or wet soil so we may be think about that, that Celts or the first Slaves have settelde nearby the Svratka and Svitava junction. Further Slavonic settlement on the Svratka shores about the year 1 000 AD is well proven. THere is an interesting biotope and a nice nature around the junction, even if much of the country is agriculturally used or already developed.
SVRATKA A SVITAVA RIVERS
Svratka springs on the hills of Krivy Javor a Zakova Hora hillsides in the Zdarske Vrchy heights at the 772 meters-above-sea-level in the Vysocina shire. Flows through the Jihomoravskeho shire over all the 174 km of its river length. Ends in the Nove Mlyny Dam, from where the Dyje river continues to the Morava river, Danuber river and finally the Black Sea (of Atlantic Ocean).
Svitava rises in Pardubicky shire near the community of Javornik by the Svitavy city at the 472 meter –above-sea-level. Flows south to the Jihomoravsky shire trhough the marvellous, deep and narrow valley of Moravian Carst. Through the city of Brno then to the Svratka river and then vide supra =) .
Both of the rivers are principially usable for canoing and rafting, so popular on the rivers of southern Bohemia, but it is not recommendable since there is almost no facilities for the rafters, both the river basins are narrow, curvy and very shaggy and all the wiers perilous dangerous since they are without sluice gates – so it is absolutely necessary to carry the canoes or rafts over the land.
THE SOUTH OF BRNO TERRITORY
THe south of Brno was a disregarded city place for a long time. It was offering almost only the industrial brownfiels, farm land a developer areas for warehouses and malls. Today the situation is ready to change. Along the both rivers in the southern part of Brno were the bike/inline trails build and some small pubs and shops are emerging. The very local environment is getting more attention too. We can hope, that except the logistics areas, also some new communities will be biuld here, some of the fruitful soil will be kept to farmers and the biotope along both rivers will not be destroyed, at least, that some recereantional areas and parks will emerge. To the famous plants in the past, now sad brownsfields around the Svitava river, we weish the new developers and enterpreneurs, whether they find some new forms of industry for them or rebuild them to lofts.
OC OLYMPIA AND OLYMPIA PARK
In 1996 the Olympia Mall was build, a very ambitious project indeed, in which the inspiration by the true great and complete America’s shopping malls can be easily found. The mall was rebuild and spread out few times (even of some new buildings with furniture and sport stores with adjacent parking lots and this brought serious questions about the environment and farm soil conservation). Today’s Olympia Mall is a natural junction of regional public transport and also a place for some cultural and sports performances. A lot of people from the not only neigboring but also from more far away villages and towns are coming here, many visitors from Slovakia and Austria too. In the 2009 the last important spread out of the mall was performed, the „rear-Svratka“ part and a new rear parking lot are complete now. Recently, in 2010, the Olympia Park is finished. Asympathetic palce for fun, entertainment and recreation particularly for families with kids. Olympia was connected to the Svratka and Svitava alongside bike/inline trails and become nicela accesible by foot from the Prizrenice community. Olympia Park then offers state-of-the-art obstacles. Swings, tubes, etc. leveled by the age of the objective group, some thing are suitable for adults too =) ), there is a labyrint, a and small railway too. The whole park is very nice and contains also a small nature trail dedicated to interesting trees (maples, rowans –including the Service Tree–, limes, elms, etc.). Those were planted recently. It emerges the „regionalni biocentrum Svratka and Svitava junction“, classen in the reginal system of environmental stability. In the Olympia Park, you can find also a inline skate oval and the climbing wall. In winter thime, there is an ice rink installed on the part of the rear parking lot. Small amphitheater form some cultural events is included too.
