Geocache Description:

NOTE: The cache IS NOT located at the above coordinates!

This cache is part of a series of five puzzle caches, all hidden in the Great Hills area. When you solve and find each of these caches, you will be given two clues, which will be needed to solve a sixth bonus puzzle cache.

As you move through the series, the puzzles get more difficult, at least in theory, although that may vary based on experience and aptitude with certain puzzle types. Also, the terrain in which they are hidden tends to increase in difficulty.

Solve the following geocaching logic problem based on the information provided:

Five Central Texas geocachers each hid a new geocache in the same week. Each hid their cache on a different day at a different time. Each of the geocachers hid a different type of cache, and each was hidden in a different type of terrain. Determine the full name of each geocacher, the type of terrain it was hidden in, and the day and time of each hide.

The first names of the cachers were Indigo, Soaring, High, Phil, and Buck. Their last names were Parrish, Eagle, Dude, Crow, and Outlaw. The types of caches they hid were Micro, Small, Regular, Mystery, and Multi. The types of terrain were in a park, in the woods, near a lake, near a creek, and along a trail.

1. The five cachers included High, the one who hid his cache near a creek (which was not the small container), the one who hid his cache on Wednesday, the one who made the hide at 10:00 AM, and the hider whose last name was Crow.

2. The cache hidden along a trail was not a multi-cache, but it was the one that was hidden at 11:00 AM. Mr. Parrish hid a regular container. The person who hid their cache on Monday did it at 3:00 PM.

3. Buck, whose last name wasn't Crow, hid the micro container, but he didn't make his hide on Tuesday. The mystery cache was hidden at 1:00 PM, but not on Friday, and that hider's name wasn't Outlaw.

4. Soaring didn't hide his cache in a park and he did not hide the regular cache, but he did make his hide two days before the person that hid the mystery cache. Indigo, whose last name wasn't Crow, hid his cache in the woods, but it wasn't a multi-cache. The cache hidden by the lake wasn't placed at 2:00 PM.

5. Phil Dude made his hide the afternoon of the day before Mr. Eagle (whose first name wasn't High). The three people who hid their caches in the afternoon were the one who hid his cache in a park, the one who made the hide on Thursday, and the one who hid a multi-cache.

6. The person whose last name was Outlaw didn't hide his cache near a lake, but he did hide it on Tuesday morning. Indigo didn't place his cache on Thursday, but he did hide it in the morning.

The following diagram can be used to help solve the logic problem:

Enter your answers in the following table to help solve the puzzle:

Final Coordinates: N 30° 2A.BCD W 097° 4E.FGH

A = 3PM – Friday
B = Small – Creek
C = Crow – Tuesday
D = Dude + Park – Mystery
E = Multi – 1PM
F = Eagle – Thursday
G = Trail + Regular – 11AM
H = Parrish – 10AM

When you find each cache, make sure that you record the two clues that are attached to the log at each cache. Without all of these clues, you will not be able to solve the final bonus puzzle.

You can validate your puzzle solution with certitude.
