Geocache Description:


This is a mystery cache. The listed coordinates are for the main parking and trail entry, but NOT for the final cache. You must solve the puzzle below to determine the final coordinates. You need to make a couple of keen observations and do some simple analysis. The final coordinates are within 2 miles of the listed parking coordinates and this longer walk is along a beautiful trail. There are other parking spots closer to the cache but limited parking is available at these secondary trailheads.

Consider the following list of sentences. Each sentence contains a hidden element that will form an obvious pattern or connection to a common theme. To solve this puzzle, you need to:

  • Discover the hidden element in each sentence and deduce the connection between those elements and the theme. In this Eureka puzzle, each element is composed of two related words.
  • Determine the coordinates as outlined below.
