Home, Home on the Range!

These caches are dedicated to bringing people to new and interesting places in this beautiful state of ours, as well as some classic Colorado destinations. If you know of a unique Colorado location, please email me and I will do my best to get it listed in the series.

Enjoy the peaceful windswept grasslands of eastern Colorado while visiting this cache. Cache is located by one of the only major roads in this part of the state (please park on the dirt road for your safety). If you're coming from north or south you'll be amazed at how beautiful the prairie can be, especially in spring and summer. As you're driving, imagine caravans of covered wagon snaking across the hillsides and how they must have felt when they first traveled through this vast land. Watch for antelope grazing, red-tailed hawks, prairie dogs, mule deer, and burrowing owls.

Come prepared by bringing lots of water as there are NO stops for coolant, gas, or anything for that matter between the towns of Ordway and Limon. Cache is a standard ammo can with lots of great swag so please trade up, trade even, or don't trade at all. Please hide the cache exactly (or better) than you found it so it stays in good shape for future cachers. Hope you enjoy this beautiful spot in scenic Colorado!
