Welcome to the Texas version of the “Jasmer Challenge”.
To qualify for this challenge, you must have logged at least one
cache that was placed during every month back to the beginning of
Geocaching (May 2000).
Note: The oldest active cache in Texas was placed in September 2000
(GC62). So, you will obviously need to travel outside of Texas in
order to qualify for this Challenge Cache. You may use caches from
any US state or country to meet the requirements.
As part of your online log for this cache, you will need to
provide the GC code of a cache that was placed in each month for
all of 2000, 2001, and 2002. Of course, you have to have a find for
caches placed in all other months (up to and including the current
month) as well, but those tend to be easier to come by and don't
require as much verification.
If you are a user of Geocaching Swiss Army Knife (GSAK), a table called “Finds by
Placed Month” can be generated as part of the latest version
of the FindStatsGen macro to help you easily see which months you
are missing, and when you have completed the challenge.
Another GSAK macro called MonthlyCoverage
can be used to display your Finds by Placed Month table all by
itself. You are encouraged to post a screen grab of the output in
the Photo Gallery when you log this Challenge Cache.
Here is an example of our progress towards completing this
challenge (as of August 2010):
As you can see, we only need cache finds from 4 more months in
order to completely fill in our table.
The actual D/T of this hide is about a 1/1.5, but the listed D/T
rating reflects the D/T required to qualify for the
challenge.
