Panoptic Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

Deceangi: Rather than keep this cache temporarily disabled (which should only be used for shortish periods) I'm archiving it. If/when the cache is ever replaced I'll gladly unarchive it assuming it still meets the guidelines.

Please avoid geolitter by removing any remaining traces of your cache or contact a local cacher to do so for you. If you are having difficulty doing so then please contact me via my profile and I will try to get someone to assist. This is particularly important if your cache appears to contain Travelbugs or Geocoins.

Geocache Description:

This park boasts a quiet but remarkable bandstand built on the rubble of London's most notorious slum. The buildings you see around you are the world's oldest council housing estate, designed with panoptic principles in mind. Anywhere you go, someone is watching you... maybe even me! This is a lovely Grade II listed and recently restored park, surprisingly low in muggles for the heart of London's East End. For more information, see the related web page

The cache itself is a smallish container just large enough for coins. When placed, it contained Sundial of the Month and GME Mega Event 2007 Geocoins.

This is my 1st hide, to mark my 100th find. Enjoy!
