Geocache Description:

Welcome to the 2010 Mid-Hudson Valley Annual Picnic, this time held at the Winding Hills Park in Montogomery, NY, and will also celebrate 10.10.10.

Event Times: 10:10 - 1:00

Please log a “will attend” post so that we can get together the supplies we’ll need. Also, please post what you will bring and I’ll try to keep the page updated so we get a nice variety of dishes and deserts. The pavilion does have electricity, but you may need an extention cord to reach the food table.

Cornfarrell and Susie50 have volunteered to man(?) the grills!

Winding Hills Park has many trails, about a dozen or so caches, two lakes, pedal boats, and a playground. In otherwords, there is lots to do for the whole family.


On a separate note: Groundspeak wants to see how many geocachers can go geocaching on a single day, and they've chosen 10-10-10, since the date represents 10 years of geocaching and 10 years of Groundspeak in 2010. The previous record of 56,654 accounts was logged on April 18, 2010. (Groundspeak is loooking for ACCOUNTS logged, not total caches logged.)
