Úvodní souřadnice Vás zavedou ke kříži na rozcestí silnic poblíž hájenky na místě zvaném Tabarky. Toto místo byly v dávné minulosti důležitou křižovatkou cest v oblasti Chřibů. Jméno Tabarky je velmi starého původu. Bylo odvozováno od latinského výrazu taberna, což značí buď útulek, hospodu, nebo také tábor či ležení. Bývala zde vojenská stanice, sloužící obraně Hradské cesty. Nedaleko Tabarek se nachází Velkomoravský mohylník z poslední třetiny 9. a první poloviny 10. století, kterému je mimochodem věnována keš Slovanské mohyly . Okolní lesy jsou též místem četných nálezů nádob, šperků, zbraní a dalších archeologických předmětů.
Tato kěš je věnována kříži, který se nachází na výchozích souřadnicích poblíž hájenky. Zvláštností tohoto kříže je, jak můžete vidět na fotografii, že Kristus má na něm hlavu otočenou na levou stranu, zatímco na většině jiných křížů ji má obvykle otočenou vpravo. Symbolika tohoto detailu je nejasná, nicméně měla by Vám pomoci odhalit finální souřadnice. Může se vztahovat ke dvěma zločincům, kteří údajně byli ukřižováni současně s Ježíšem, z nichž ten vlevo se mu vysmíval, zatímco ten vpravo se ho zastal a díky tomu byl spasen. Jiný výklad říká, že ve směru otočení Kristovy hlavy na kříži žádný skrytý význam není a záleželo pouze na autorovi kříže, jak se mu Krista podařilo vysochat.
Ke kříži na Tabarkách se vztahuje pověst, že na Kvasickém panství působil svého času velmi krutý dráb. Často na svém koni objížděl okolní vesnice a jejich obyvatele týral. Při jedné z vyjížděk se mu stala nehoda, spadl z koně a srazil si hlavu. Po smrti však nenalezl klid a na svém koni dál objížděl okolní vesnice jako bezhlavý přízrak. Na ochranu před duchem prokletého drába byly podél trasy jeho pravidelných vyjížděk postaveny tři kříže, z nichž dva stojí dodnes a na obou má Kristus hlavu otočenou vlevo.
V žádném případě se nepokoušejte prohledávat či dokonce demontovat samotný kříž! Na odlov se vydejte až tehdy, když budete mít úspěšně dekódovány a ověřeny souřadnice. Nedoporučuje se odlov v nočních hodinách, nejen z důvodu nebezpečí setkání s přízrakem bezhlavého jezdce na koni, ale především kvůli psům z nedaleké hájenky, jejichž hlasité štěkání by mohlo zburcovat obyvatele hájenky. Pozor si též dejte na bažinu nacházející se blízko výchozích souřadnic! Pokud se vám podaří při odlovu vyfotit bezhlavého jezdce na koni, přiložte prosím fotografii k logu.

The initial coordinates point to the cross at the road T-junction near the forester's lodge at the place called "Tabarky". This place was an important ancient crossroads in the region of Chriby. The origin of the name "Tabarky" is old and was probably derived from Latin expression taberna, which mean refuge, pub, lager or camp. A military post resident here in the past served to defence the trade route called "Hradska cesta". Not far from Tabarky it can be found a tumulary graveyard from the era of Great Moravia, dated to period from the last third of 9th century to the first half of 10th century, where you can search for cache Slovanské mohyly . Surroundings forests are also places of numerous finding of vessels, gems, arms and other archaeological artefacts.
This cache is devoted to cross, which is situated on starting coordinate near the forester's lodge. An oddness of this cross is, as you can see on the photo, that Christ on it has his head turned upon left side, while on most others crosses he has usually head turned to the right. The symbolism of this detail is unclear; nevertheless, it should help you to disclose the final coordinates. It could relate to the pair of rebels, who reputedly were crucified together with Jesus, from which that one on left side laugh at him, while the one on the right side stick up for him and therefore was salved. Other interpretation says, that direction of Christ head turning on cross has no hidden meaning and depended only on artistic feeling of the cross author.
The cross in the Tabarky is related with a legend, that in the near burg Kvasice ruled once a very cruel catchpoll. He used to ride the surrounding villages and punish their inhabitants. During ones of his rides, he fell off his horse and broke his neck. Hereafter, however, his soul did not found peace and he continued to ride the surrounding villages like a headless phantom. To the protection against the spirit of the cursed catchpoll, three crosses were built along the route of his regular rides. Two of them stand up today and on both the Christ has head turned to the left.
Do not search through the cross and do not try to disassemble it in any case! Do not start the hunt until you have successfully decoded and verified the coordinates. An overnight hunt is not recommended, because of dogs living in the forester's lodge. Beware of a small swamp near the initial coordinates!
