[LV] Esi sveicinats, cienijamais slepnotaj!
Pedeja laika iestajies apnikums? Kadreiz zale bija zalaka un slepni skaistaki? Ar lielu piepuli atrastais slepnis satur rutinu lapu, gumijas izstradajumus un izsmeki? Vari but dross, so slepni meklejot, zales krasa bus mazsvariga ;) Jo sis ir nakts slepnis. Vieta, kur majo neskaitamas kirzakas, reizem pogo lakstigalas, ar dvieli par plecu uz peldi dodas cuskas un, iztramditi savos (ne)darbos, ar milzu blikski upe krit bebri.
Pirms dodies to izbaudit, parliecinies, vai:
- Ir nakts. Jo diena nemt so slepni ir ne tikai arkartigi sarezgiti, bet to vienkarsi nedrikst darit.
- Tev ir sarunats vismaz viens lidzbraucejs, lai nu gadijuma butu kads, ar ko parunaties, kad drusku neomuligi klust.
- Tava soma ir fotoaparats ar zibspuldzi (nav gan obligati, bet ieteicams kadu bildi jautribai), GPS ierice (vienalga, kada, ka tik ir), dazadi gaismekli (man nav nekas iebilstams pret lapam, bet seit labak noderetu pieres lukturi ar dazadas intensitates gaismu), kada lapina pierakstiem un rakstamais. Kads pretkukainu pusamais ar nekaites.
- Esi atvadijies no majiniekiem. Hehehe :D
Dotajas koordinates slepni neatradisi. Ta ir vieta, kur novietot auto, pargerbties (vasara loti loti daudz odi un erces.. piedodiet :D) un no kurienes sakt aptuveni 3,5 km garo naksnigo pastaigu.
BET viss sakas jau nedaudz agrak. Pa celam uz slepni, koku aleja (N 57° 10.082 E 024° 49.468) labaja puse jaatrod 6. koks. Zem horizontala zara atrodas norades un ATSLEGA (to var ieraudzit, kokam nepieskaroties!). Norade ir janoraksta un jaatstaj, bet atslega janem lidzi. Pec slepna atrašanas, ludzu, neaizmirsti atslegu nolikt atpakal! Ja dodaties nemt slepni un pie noradem atslegas nav, tas nozime, ka kada komanda sobrid jau darbojas un jums ir jauzgaida, dzerot pasu sagadatu teju ar maizitem ;) Slepna izliceji neatbild par miesas bojajumiem, kurus izdaris ilgi teju dzerosa kompanija tiem, kuri atslegu aizmirsusi novietot tas vieta. Ja aizmirstiet atslegu nolikt vieta vai notiek vel kada kibele, ludzu, nekavejoties zinojiet uz ljenijs@gmail.com!
Neliela piebilde. Skruvejamos konteineros info lapinu ievieto vispirms korkisa dala, pec tam rupigi aizskruve. Neatgadinasu tadu pasu par sevi saprotamu lietu, ka - ludzu, novieto visu ta, lai nakamais mekletajs to atrastu tapat, ka Tu! Un nekap pari nozogojumam ;)
Slepnis satur visu nepieciesamo un dazas tematiskas mantinas apmainai. Lugums mainit lidzvertigas mantinas. Pirmajai atradeju kompanijai 3 siki suvenirini.

Ala ir veidojusies vairak ka pirms 10.000 gadu upes sanu erozijas un tagad izzudusa avota darbibas rezultata. Gruti pieejama, jo sakas klinsu vidu astonus metrus virs Gaujas. Agrak bija izveidota pieeja, kas lava turistiem alu aplukot tuvuma, taka uz alu gaja pari tas griestiem, kur to biezums nav vairak par 1 metru. Sobrid pieeja nonemta, alu var aplukot (diena :)) no Gaujas preteja krasta. Alas griestos saglabajusies sesi caurumi, kas ir lidz 2 m dzili, 10 - 15 cm diametra; ta sauktie "velna skursteni". Lidz 1992. gadam ala bija 10,7 m gara, bet pec tam, kad to pagarinaja "Balta braliba", meklejot ala savu aprakto "templi", ala kluvusi 40 m gara, 9 m plata, 4,8 m augsta.
Teika stasta, ka Velns, skriedams no Judaziem uz Pabaziem, saja vieta izdzirdejis gaili dziedam, tadel iemucis ala un nogulejis tur lidz ritam. No Velna elpas alas sienas kluvusas melnas.
[ENG] Welcome, the honourable geocacher!
Things have gone boring? Few Years ago the grass was more green and caches more interesting? The cache which took the most effort apeared to contain a page from an exercise book, some rubber things for safer love and a cigarette? Be not afraid, this is the cache You will not look for the colour of grass here. Because this is a night cache. This is a place, where lizards live, where You can hear a nightingale’s song occasionally, snakes are gliding for a good night’s swim and when caught on the act, beavers are falling in the river heavily.
Before trying it out, be sure, if:
- It is a night. It is very complicated to find this cache at day and You are not allowed to do that.
- You have at least one friend with You. It is recommended to chat with him/her when a fear is crowling up Your spine.
- You have a photo camera (optional), GPS device and different ligh sources with You. Also some writing paper and a pen is needed. And some anti-insect aerosol is recommended, too.
- You have said goodbye to your family members. Hohohooooo :D
At the given coordinates there is no cache. This is a place where to leave a car, change Your clothes (there are many ticks and very many mosquitoes out there at summer.. I am sorry :D) and leave for a good night walk (some 3,5 km long).
BUT everything starts a bit earlier. On Your way to the cache, in the right side of tree avenue (N 57° 10.082 E 024° 49.468) You have to count the 6th tree. Under a horizontal branch there is a message and a KEY. You have to write down the message and take the key with You. After finding the cache, please do not forget to bring the key back. If You are heading for the cache but can find the message only, another group is already there. Please wait for them (You can have a tea with snacks, if You have some at Your car :D) If you forget to put a key back, please inform me immeadiately through ljenijs@gmail.com!
A small note. Metal containers, containing paper with info are easier to close if paper is folded in the cap first. Then please close it accurately. You know it, but I will repeat once more – please, leave everything as You found it! And do not climb over the fence, even if You are there with a girl :D
The cache contains everything that is needed and a few thematical items for trade. Please trade with equivalent items. FTF will get 3 small souveniers.

You will wander near a Devil’s cave of Krimulda. It is also recommended to visit this place at daytime just to hike around.
Velnalas (Devil’s) cliffs – the upper Devonian Gauja suite’s sandstone outcrop - is a protected geological object. About 8m above the river’s level there is a sufozian cave – Krimuldas Velnala (Devil’s cave). It was originally 10.7 meters deep only, but after an extensive work of „The White Brotherhood”, who looked for their lost „temple”, the cave became 40 meters deep. Due to very thin layer of sandstone at the ceiling, tourists are not allowed there, but You can see the cave (at daylight :)) from the other bank of Gauja. Find the picture of it in the Latvian paragraph ;)
The legend says that the devil flying from Judazi to Pabazi above the Gauja River heard a cock singing. Devil quickly ran into the cave and slept there until next morning. Breath of devil blackened the walls of the cave.
