This is my first cache. It is a easy micro in a nice park. Park closes at sunset. Bring your own pencil.
When I drive by this park I think of the old Boeckenhauer farmstead that was once here. The Boeckenhauers settled here in 1865. There house and barn stood where the mini golf course is. They had a big front yard and a field of sweet corn that would go all the way to Thacker St. The park district bought the property in 1988.
