The cache is located in the nature
reserve "Vakarbulli".
The nature reserve "Vakarbulli" was
established in 1999 for the protection of the Lielupe's and the
Bullupe's river meadows as well as of some rare an guarded plant
species. Located in the south-west part of Bullu island, it covers
an area of ca. 50 hectares. It can be a good place for bird
watching, as 24 bird species are constantly met here, while 13 of
them nest on the territory.
The cache itself is placed in the middle
of the forest clearing. The plastic box contains a notebook, a
pencil and some place is left for exchange items.
It is not allowed to leave a car near or
on the road in the vicinity of the spot (because of the nature
reserve), so I would recommend you to go there by bus 36 or take a
walk.
