The cache (2018.10.18) is not on the ground. There is room for small items of swag and trackables.
Short walk so virtual Park and Grab, and easily done in 5 minutes or so, car to cache to car. Please bring your own ball-point pen.
We have Motorway Mayhem. We have A-Road Anarchy (cos there aren’t many Motorways in Wales!). But what about public transport users? SideTracked Caches are intended to provide quick Cache-and-dashes at Train Stations. SideTracked started at Evesham station on August 10th 2007, placed by schnarff & bikermel76. The cache is placed just off a path near The Llanberis Lake Railway, which is a narrow gauge railway running from the village and along the far side of Llyn Padarn. The cache is on the castle side of the railway. The path is accessible to walkers and pushchairs. The Area has plenty of history and things to do. For more info see the link below. (visit link)
Stealth may be required, but the trees allow a measure of secrecy, and allow us to see muggles before they see us. Parking is available on the Castle Car Park nearby which is Pay and Display (£4 all day, no short term charge) or there is plenty of parking in the Village. The Museum car parks are reasonably priced with short term charges - cheapest 30p for half an hour, up to £2.50 for 4 hours, £4 for anything over 4 hours.
