EN: Korcula is considered to be one of the most impressive and best looking old-towns on the Croatian coast. Here's the spot from which you have an excellent view of the old town, and a perfect place to take your photographs from. Cache is placed some 15m right and 5m down from "The View". Look for 2 trees growing in the form of a letter "V", with some stones in between (see spoiler picture).
Cache is big enough to carry TBs and GCs. You can drive up to 5m from the cache, the difficulty of 1.5 is for the last 5m downhill. If you go by car, take the one way road towards east, the sea being on your right. By foot, the road up there is shorter, but not so obvious. No need to go through the bushes, there are stairs going up from the center of the town, find Waypoint 1. After a first few steps, choose the (larger) stairway on the right, and you'll be on the right track.
When going down, do NOT take the steep concrete road - it leads to a small parking lot of a PRIVATE house.
HR: Korčula se smatra za grad s (jednim od) najimpresivnijim i najljepšim starim gradom na hrvatskoj obali. Ovdje ste na mjestu s kojeg imate odličan pogled na stari grad, i idealnoj poziciji da napravite par fotografija. Cache je postavljen nekih 15m desno i 5m dolje od "pogleda". Nađite 2 stabla koja rastu u formi slova "V", s kamenjem izmedu njih (spoiler slika). Cache je dovoljno velik za TB i GC-eve.
Možete prići autom sve do 5m od cachea, a težina od 1.5 je zbog zadnjih 5m nizbrdo. Ako idete autom, krenite jednosmjernom ulicom iz centra prema istoku, more vam mora biti sdesna. Pješice je put puno bliži, ali nije očigledan. Ne trebate se probijati kroz žbunje, postoje stepenice prema gore od centra grada, pronađite Waypoint 1. Nakon par stepenica, krenite desnim (širim) stepeništem, i bit ćete na pravom putu.
Pri silasku, NE idite strmom betonskom cestom – ona vodi do malog parkirališta i PRIVATNE kuće.
