Geocaching
101
After the park saw
what we were doing, they asked for more!!!
Here is
November's!
There are one of
two location that we may be at for this event. As I don't
know what one we will be at until a day or so before the event,
please check both location.
1. Beach House: We
will be here if it is not rented for that day.
2. Assembly
Shelter: This is will be the alternate location.
You can fallow the
signs to either place. Put you may have to try both.
Look for the Geocaching banner.
Come out to Mistletoe State Park and learn all about the wonderful
world of Geocaching!!
We will start about 1:00pm with an introduction to what Geocaching
is and how it all works. Afterwards, you will have plenty of time
to go and find some of the caches that are hidden in the park. We
will wrap up around 4:00pm.
So, dig out that old GPS, or grab the one from the car, or just
come and see what hidden treasure there are to find. I can almost
bet there is one very close to your home. If you don't have a GPS,
there will be plenty of others around to help you out.
GA Park may be sending us some
GPSr for you to borrow if you don't have one!!!!! Who knows,
you may be able to get one and try it all on your
own!!??!???!
