Kaple Svateho Vavrince Mystery Cache

Svaty Vavrinec
(latinsky Laurentius) (narozen kolem roku 230 - Huesca, dnesni Spanelsko; upalen 10. srpen 258 - Rim) byl rimsky klerik, jeden ze sedmi diakonu, kteri byli umuceni pri pronasledovani krestanu rimskym cisarem Valerianem v roce 258.
Byl diakonem sv. Sixta II., ktery byl umucen kratce pred nim. Po papezove smrti byl vyzvan k vydani cirkevnich pokladu, on je vsak na misto toho rozdal chudym, pro kterouzto vzpouru byl krute umucen (zaziva upecen).
Za svateho jej povazuji katolici, pravoslavni a nektere vetve anglikanu a luteranu. Katolicka cirkev slavi jeho svatek 10. srpna.

"Bohatstvi" sv. Vavrince
Po smrti papeze Sixta II., pozadoval prefekt rimsky, aby mu Vavrinec vydal bohatstvi chramu. Sv. Ambroz jako nejrannejsi zdroj legendy o sv. Vavrincovi pise, ze Vavrinec pozadal o tri dny, aby mohl shromazdit majetek chramu. Sv. Vavrinec se snazil dat tolik majetku kolik bylo jen mozne chudym, aby tak zabranil ziskani ho prefektem. Tretiho dne se dostavi pred rimskeho prefekta a ukaze mu to, co povazuje za nejvetsi bohatstvi chramu, a to chude, zmrzacene, slepe a trpici. Jedna zprava zaznamenava, ze prohlasuje: „Chram je skutecne bohaty, mnohem bohatsi nez vas cisar.“ Diky tomuto cinu otevreneho odporu bude umucen jako jeden z nejhorsich zlocincu.

Umceni
Podle tradice byl sv. Vavrinec odsouzen na miste dnesniho kostela San Lorenzo in Miranda, a umuceny na miste dnesniho kostela San Lorenzo in Panisperna, a pohrben na Via Tuburtina v katakombach presbytery Hippolitem a Justinem. Protoze byl upalen ci upecen k smrti, je zobrazovan s rostem v ruce a oblecen v dalmatice. Cisar Konstantin I. nechal na pamatku umuceni sv. Vavrince vybudovat malou modlitebnu. Papez Damasus I. ji nechal prebudovat na kostel, nyni znamy jako San Lorenzo fuori le Mura, zatimco na miste umuceni vznikl kostel San Lorenzo in Panisperna. Rost, na nemz byl umucen, je umisten v kostele San Lorenzo in Lucina.

Svaty Vavrinec byl dle legendy umucen na zeleznem rostu nad horkym uhlim. Behem teto tortury sv. Vavrinec krici: „Z jedne strany jsem jiz opeceny, pokud me chcete mit dobre udelaneho, je cas me otocit na druhou stranu.“

Saint Lawrence
(Latin Laurentius) (born circa 230 - Huesca, current Spanish; burned August 10 258 - Rome) was a Roman cleric, one of the seven deacons who were tortured during the persecution of Christians Roman Emperor Valerian in 258th.
He was deacon of St.. Sixtus II. He was executed shortly before them. After Pope's death was asked to issuance of ecclesiastical treasures, he is but instead it gave to the poor,: for which the revolt was cruelly tortured to death (alive and fried).
Sees it as a saint by Catholics, Orthodox and Anglicans, and some branches Lutherans. The Catholic Church celebrates his feast day 10th August.

"Wealth" Saint Lawrence
After the death of Pope Sixtus II., Demanded the prefect of the Roman order he gave Lawrence wealth of the temple. St. Ambrose as the earliest source of the legend of St.. Lawrence writes that Lawrence asked for three days to be able to collect property of the temple. Torture
According to tradition, was St.. Lawrence sentenced in place of the present church of San Lorenzo in Miranda, and executed on the site of today's church of San Lorenzo in Panisperna, and buried in the catacombs of the Via Tuburtina presbyter Hippolitem and Justin. Because he was burned or roasted to death, is shown with a grate in hand and dressed in dalmatice. Emperor Constantine I let the memory of St. tortured. Vavrinec build a small chapel. Pope Damasus I had it rebuild the church, now known as San Lorenzo fuori le Mura, while the place was tortured church of San Lorenzo in Panisperna. Rost, where he was executed, is placed in the church of San Lorenzo in Lucina.

Saint Lawrence was martyred by the legend on the iron grate over hot coals. During this torture St. Lawrence yells: "From one side I was already fried, if you want me to have a good udelaneho is the time I turn around to the other side."
