Abunai Inc.: Well, it's been a good run, but it's time for the Cache-A-Day series to be archived.

It was an ambitious series and we hope everyone enjoyed having a bunch of easy to find caches available.

We decided though, that since it was so difficult to keep this geographically dispersed series properly maintained, we weren't doing the Geocaching community any good by having several missing, broken, crappy caches out there.

We'll focus an a lot fewer, a lot higher quality caches in the future.

Geocache Description:


Have you ever wanted to attempt a "consecutive days with a find"
streak?

We're going to try to make it easier for you.


We are placing a series of caches, each with a date in the name.
If you find each cache on the calendar day that matches the cache
name, you should be able to log a cache per day for a year.


We will take leap year (February 29) and weather conditions into
account (caches named with a winter date will be as weather
friendly as possible.)


We'll do our best to keep up with DNF and "Needs Maintenance"
logs to ensure that the whole series is in place and active.
