The formal event will be from 8:00-9:00 PM, but
the haunted house will be open until 10:30PM! Meet-up in the
parking lot to sign in as attending the haunted house event!
Sporting your own spooky costumes are optional!
Every year presents here a new creepy layout. The actors change.
The lighting changes. Heck, the sounds and scares change too! This
is one haunted house that gives the pay for play haunted houses a

The route into the property is clearly marked by signs from the
paved streets onto the dirt road. Any car, truck, broom or hearse
can make the short dirt segment to the parking area no problem. The
driving directions link above on this cache page are perfect except
that Whitehaven is your last direction. You will be directed by
signs to turn off from Whitehaven directly to the parking lot on

The neighboring two stage multi on the Cajon Summit Trail is
highly recommended and very spooky at night! If you get it into
your skull to do the half-mile loop trail, bring a flash-light,
just in case.
Not to worry, a younger kids version of the haunted house which
is slightly less scary is available upon request...
FINE PRINT: The property owners are of
course the Tevis Clan, long-time cachers here in the High Desert so
please be respectful and heed signs about where to park, etc. The
haunted house does not charge admission but operates on donations
only to meet its operating costs. Donations are strictly voluntary,
but appreciated.

There will be a formal burial ceremony for dead travel bugs.
Anybody with bugs to "bury" can bring a small picture or the copy
tag of their favorite dead/MIA TBs to place in our traveling dead
& missing TB memorial coffin TB which will make its debut at
this event!
