Where 80s Arcade Characters Go Wherigo Cache

Welcome to the FIRST Wherigo in Central Ohio!!! This Wherigo cartridge will hopefully be a fun one for the whole family as you try to find out what happened to 80s arcade characters after arcades went the way of the dinosaur. You should really read the entire description of this cache before attempting. This is not HARD (I wanted it to be sort of tutorial-like), but there are some wrenches thrown in.

There have been at least four attempts of completing this cache with the iPhone wherigo app that have failed. Please be aware that the iPhone app may not be able to complete this cartridge.

THERE WILL BE ONE SECTION OF THIS TREK WHERE YOU NEED TO STAY ON THE TRAIL TO STAY OUT OF BACK YARDS. YOU WILL BE WARNED IN THE WHERIGO, BUT PLEASE PAY ATTENTION TO YOUR SURROUNDINGS.

This cache was placed as part of The Collaboration Project (GC2BVZQ) puzzle. The codes contained in this cache are needed to solve that puzzle. To find the other caches needed to solve this puzzle, please refer to cache GC2BVZQ.

Published hours of this park are 7am to 11pm, but I HIGHLY recommend NOT doing this one after dark.

This is a wherigo, and you will be hiking quite a bit. Stay on the trails. There will only be ONE trail that will involve SOME bushwhacking, but there IS a thin deer trail.

You may run across the water treatment facility in your quest. They were contacted and I was informed that the area around the facility is public property and the trails and area surrounding the facility are available to the public. The facility itself is monitored by video cameras to prevent vandalism. Approaching the facility is NOT required.

Pay close attention to what you read as you go along or you may have to start all over! Save often or you'll regret it (if your batteries die, if you drop your GPS and it resets, etc.)

Initially, there is LOTS of SWAG, including some Rubik items that I have held onto SINCE the 80s!!! If you have stuff to trade that fits the 80s or Arcade genre, that would be SUPER GNARLY RADICAL TO THE MAX! (But don't feel like you HAVE to trade something like that... just trade up or even!)
