This is the only station in my local Sidetracked series that had business activity nearby, thanks to the river, before it was built. Not that much of it remains now. Nor may the current environ soon as a "plan for change" is being implemented.
The gasworks has been dismantled and the gas odour has gone.
Commercial drivers often take rest breaks parked here so precluding even stealthy searches.
This area has a reputation: I advise you not to wander around alone at night.
