In the Night Garden Multi-cache

This cache has been archived.

CocaColaCacher: Time has come to put this cache to rest, night caches don't seem to be too popular these days. I was surprised that when I was out today to retrieve the cache that I couldn't find a single firetack or the redirect. It is almost like they were taken. I might go back in the dark but either way it was time to archive this one. The feature (a tree full of solar lights had fallen down but many of the lights were still there and a few still worked after all of these years and winters. Everything I could find was removed but don't worry, you'll be back in the area soon. Thanks to all that did come out, I enjoyed the few walkalongs I came out for.

Geocache Description:

Inspired by my "Night Light" cache (GC2CD85), I've created the "premium" version of it.

The cache name has nothing to do with the "educational" (cough, cough) kids TV show by the same name.

This is a true night cache, a multi with a night component that will make this cache easier to find after dark. This cache should be summer, fall and winter friendly, not sure about the spring though; bring rubber boots I'm thinking.

PLS remember to make a WP or turn on tracking before you are too far in, I've gotten turned around in here during the day.
------------------------------------

At the posted co-ordinates, look for some numbers that will catch your “ATTENTION”. Take the digital root and use the list below to project to WP2. (NOTE: there is also lots of 3-season parking at the posted co-ords but I'm not sure about the winter.

At WP2, there are two similar signs with differing opinions about the same number. Take the digital root of the number they agree upon and use the list below to project to WP3. NOTE: one sign is correct.

At WP3 there are no numbers or containers; just a (formerly) tall rotten old birch stump. Only lighting up the darkness will show you a fairly true path to WP4.

WP4 will have a number of a projection listed below that will bring you to the "feature" but you may not need it.

Projection #   Distance (m)   Deg
       1                054          173
       2                073          087
       3                112          222
       4                132          252
       5                145          225
       6                221          332
       7                297          258
       8                318          308
       9                384          021
--------------------------------------------------

The cache is located ~6m North of the "feature" in a camo-ed lock-and-lock hidden well, well above snow level just in case muggles happen upon the area. A nice flat rock will ease retrieving. Also at this location is a very long “cache maintenance tool” if there are any victims of the wind that need to be put back. I forgot to bring a man made one so I improvised en-route with surprising success.

Please go to Night Light first and bring something similar if you wish to contribute to the this cache.

I will try to check on the cache regularly, I have some replacements for the "feature" if needed. Let me know if maintenance is required. Also take in to account the +/- GPSr accuracy at the WP's and widen your search if necessary.

While it might be possible to find this cache during the day it really defeats the purpose of having a night cache. You can day log it if you wish but please only count it as ½ a find .

Congrads to cron, valspad and Taylor on the FTF prize of a $5 Timmies Card.

Please don't post pics of the "feature", it really should be seen in person. Pics of the cache container are fine. THX
