Depuis trente ans que je viens au camping de La Rouvière, j'étais évidemment rentré dans cette grotte. Toutefois, je n'avais jamais osé aller dans le passage étroit.
Lors de cette semaine, après une initiation à la spéléologie, j'ai fait plusieurs grottes et j'ai notamment poussé mes investigations dans celle-ci. J'y ai donc créé une cache dont la boîte est, cette fois-ci, à l'intérieur... Il vous faudra donc bien vous chausser, vous couvrir légèrement (il fait frais dans la grotte), prévenir vos proches, prendre des lampes et surtout bien regarder les photos indices qui seront votre seul guide à l'intérieur.
La grotte ne présente pas de difficulté particulière mais il faudra ramper un peu pour passer la première cavité et ensuite faire bien attention à ne pas glisser (eau et glaise au sol) et ne rien casser.
Cette grotte abrite des
gravures rupestres qui sont protégées par une porte blindée (au fond de la grotte).
La cache et les concrétions sont pour leur part dans la partie droite de la grotte. Peu après l'entrée, allez à droite et ramper dans le passage bas.
NB : L'entrée de la grotte est "théoriquement" fermée par un grillage dans lequel j'ai toujours connu un trou pour passer.

Since thirty years I come to the campsite La Rouvière, I obviously go into this cave. However, I never dared go into the narrow passage.
During this week, after an introduction to caving, I made several such caves and I pushed my investigations in this one. So I created a cache, but, this time, inside... You will need good shoes, to cover you lightly (it's cool in the cave), tell your family, take torchs, have a good look on clues that will be your only guide inside.
The cave presents no particular difficulty but you will have to crawl a little in order to go through the first cavity and then be careful not to slip (water and clay in soil) and not break anything.
This cave is home of
petroglyphs who are protected by a locked door (in the bottom of the cave).
The cache and concretions are for their part in the right part of the cave. Shortly after the entrance, go on the right and crawl through the passage.
NB: The entrance to the cave is "theoretically" closed by a wire netting in which I have always seen a hole to pass.
