Chribské pískovcové a slepencové balvany mají puvod v usazeninách tretihorních oceánu. Teprve pred 15 miliony let byly vyzvednuty alpínským vrásnením nad morskou hladinu a tehdy zacalo jejich formování do dnešní romantické podoby. V každém rocním období najdete v Chribech zajímavá skaliska uprostred nádherných, vesele zbarvených nebo smutne zamyšlených listnatých lesu.
Schránku na zadaných souradnicích nehledejte, její skutecnou polohu zjistíte, když oprášíte své znalosti minerálu v balvanech z jiného sveta.
Na severní strane skal se zajímavým zpusobem vrství kazivec a korund, pod nimiž najdete vrstvu minerálu nulové tvrdosti prekrývající žílu tvrdého korundu. Vrstvicka kamenné soli s krásnými drúzami kremene a velkými krystaly kazivce jen dokreslují neobycejnou stavbu.
Na východní strane skalisek hledejte žíly mastku a kremene, které se necekaným zpusobem opakují. Zvláštní mineralogické složení završuje korund, který zakrývá vrstvu kalcitu a apatitu.

Chriby are mountains with many romantic places with solitary rocks and sandstone boulders. Lots of them are well known and visited often (Buchlov kámen, Kozel, Kazatelna or Kalisek). Some even have their own geocaches, others equally interesting are hidden in forest and forgotten. One of those mysterious places is Zavesene skaly, where this cache will lead you.
This sandstone and conglomerate boulders have their origin in sediments of tertiary oceans. 15 million years ago, they were risen by alpine orogeny above the sea level. At that time began their shaping to the form they have nowadays. You'll find interesting rocks in beautiful forests in Chriby in every season of the year.
Cache is not on the listed coordinates. You'll get the exact position by using your knowledge of minerals arranged in imaginary rocks.
On the north side of rocks look for layers of fluorite and corundum, under them, you'll find mineral with zero hardness and corundum. Thin layer of halite with druses of quartz and crystals of fluorite just complete this unusual structure.
On the east side you'll find veins of talc and quartz that are amazingly repeating. Rare mineralogical composition is crowned by corundum and layer of calcite and apatite underneath.
Look out for boars, there are lots of them in the forest. So be careful.
