The cache is a large ammo can and is placed to mark a unique occasion at a special place. This will be an easy find after a challenging hike.
Way back in time, before geocaching was even born, Rip proposed to Hollo up on this mountain, in fact a small stone from the summit sits within the ring he gave to her with his promise of love. Ever since, at least in our circles, this mountain has been dubbed Engagement Mountain – spread the word 
On the 9th day of the 9th month of 2009 we celebrated our 9th anniversary. To mark this unique occasion we had to throw a big party. About 40 friends and family joined us and as a party theme we asked our guests to bring swag to contribute to this cache. The guests brought lots of cool swag, so this one will be worth the hike and the view isn’t too bad either.
Park just off Highway 1 eastbound at the Quaite Valley Trialhead and the cache can be reached by two ways: Hike in about 100 metres and start climbing or take the longer route to Struggle Ridge GCZ28P and hike back north along the ridge.
Both Viajero Perdido’s “Slightly Scary Slabs” GC1HFBZ and Sleepy hollow’s “The Abandoned Lookout Cache” GC1XFTA contain great coords for parking and trails and can be easily combined with this one on an outing.
