Original cache description:
“I'm on the track to a wonderful pick nick place, but first you have to find me. The trees you see above you when you stand in front of me is "Heidekraut" or so called "Erika", in English “Erica” or “heather”. It's more or less the big brother. And in Portuguese the name is "Urze". After my place it's only a few steps till you reach the very old levada where you can turn right to reach the creek, and when it's time enough continue your descent till the Levada do Furado. The forest is worth it.
If you started from Ribeiro Frio, and left the Levada do Furado at the stone bridge, you come up this old levada and reache automatically the pick nick place. From there you have to go back a few meters and find the crossing for your further way up. Once you reached the ER 103 you can hitch-hike back to Ribeiro Frio.”
Descrição original da cache:
“Estou a caminho de um lugar maravilhoso, mas primeiro você precisa me encontrar. As árvores que você vê acima de você quando está na minha frente são "Heidekraut" ou a chamada "Erika", em inglês “Erica” ou “heather”. É mais ou menos o irmão mais velho. E em português o nome é “Urze”. Depois da minha casa são apenas alguns passos até chegar à antiquíssima levada onde pode virar à direita para chegar à ribeira, e quando tiver tempo continuar a descida até à Levada do Furado. A floresta vale a pena.
Se partiu do Ribeiro Frio e saiu da Levada do Furado pela ponte de pedra, sobe esta antiga levada e chega automaticamente ao local do pick nick. A partir daí é necessário recuar alguns metros e encontrar o cruzamento para continuar a subir. Ao chegar à ER 103 poderá regressar à boleia até Ribeiro Frio.”
