A fonte é uma construção de 1904 e está situada nas "Escadinhas Da Fonte", em Via Rara que é uma povoação da freguesia de Santa Iria De Azoia. Esta fonte provide de uma bica de onde nao sai água potável, situada num local aberto à visitação pública.
