Geocache Description:

It's time for the Sussex Cachers' Monthly Event to bring you to the very North of West Sussex, hoping to attract cachers old and new from Sussex and surrounding areas. It's a great opportunity to match faces to all those names you are so familiar with in the logs! It will take place at The Sussex Oak, Warnham from 7pm on Wednesday 18th August 2010.

The Sussex Oak is a spacious pub with parts of it dating back several hundred years. There are a number of bar areas, one of which has a large, inglenook fireplace and old oak beams. The restaurant is mentioned in The Good Pub Guide and is well known for serving good local produce. Food is served from 6pm until 9:30pm.

Now in their third year, these monthly mid-week cache events in Sussex continue to go from strength to strength and have become solid fixtures in the diaries of cachers across the South East. New cachers are always particularly welcome. It's a great opportunity for swapping caching tales and trackables, as well as getting hints and advice.

The events are scheduled to take place on the third Wednesday of each month, each time at a different location across Sussex and hosted by a different cacher or caching team.
See the South East Area Monthly Events Page for further details about other events in the area.

For those who like to cache on the day, there's a Church Micro across the road, and we're finally bowing to fashion by re-working our old Sussex Oak multi into a series around the area (including the beautiful Deer Park) if you have time.
