Who's up for some celebrating?
It's been a long time in the
making, but Sonia and I are ready to host a geocaching event on
August 15, 2010, between 1200-1500 hrs at our cottage in
Northfield, PQ.
Why don't you stop by? It
could be fun... there might be stationery bike racing or tea-leaf
readings or maybe even the ever-popular
OFS-NZDF-single-mode-fibre-optic-cable-splicing contest.
The main event is (of course!)
logging the find. The cache itself is very easy to find, but
slightly more difficult to get to. You must either swim or take a
boat to find it. One rule: everyone must sign the log book
personally in order to post an "attended" log. You are not
permitted to log in for a friend.
So bring some snacks, a bevvie
or two and grab your canoe or your floaties, swim-fins and
(please!) your swimsuit and join us for a few hours on the
15th.
