Pohatu Nuva: As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. [ENG]you will not find the cache at the given coordinates. the place is a starting point. you need to read description to find the cache.
the cache is a small lunch box (aprox 10 cm diameter, 5 cm high) that contains logbook, pencils and stuff to change.

So the spot is near Likais forest, at the crossroads of a road to Zvarde and old rail tracks. (you can tell it from narrow, stright path and electric train poles)
those electric rail tracks were built in 1961 and used to transport limestone, that deposits here are the biggest in Latvia, from Satini deposit to Broceni cement and slate factory. unfortunately the railroad exists no more.
You have to not so far along the path that is on the right side of track until you see a electricity pole on the left side of path.
Likais forest is 2nd biggest forest near Saldus. there you can breathe fresh air, enjoy the view and even ski in winter.
in the 40's the forest was popular place for rest and walk for jews (who accounted for 7.5% of the Saldus population), some of them used to spend every saturday there.
in WWI several batrayed poeple was broght, shot and buried in the forest, under some pine trees.
Take the small path in the other side of your path and after few steps you will see a gorgeous tree.
pi-ne tree is not a pine tree, it's an old dead fir tree, that is transformed into outdoor amusement park. you can try to climb in it, but it would be better if you swing around it: sit on the stick, run, then fly approx pi radians and try not to hit the tree - isn't that fun?
The cache itself touches the tree and you don't have to climb the pi-tree to get it. Good luck!

Likais mežs ir otrais lielakais mežs Saldus apkartne. taja var gan izbaudit svaiga gaisa un dabas skatu burvibu, gan slepot pa slepošanas trasi ziema.
40tajos gados mežs bija populara atputas un pastaigu vieta ebreju vidu, kuri tai laika sastadija 7.5% no Saldus iedzivotajiem. daži medza pavadit Likaja meža ik sestdienu.
Pirma pasaules kara sakuma šai meža denuncetos saldeniekus atveda, nošava un turpat pie eglem apraka.
Dodieties pa tacinu otrpus šim celam un pec paris soliem pamanisiet brinumaino koku.
pii koks ir veca egle, kas parveidota par brivdabas atrakciju parku. vari meginat taja rapties, bet labak butu šupoties: uzsedies uz kocina, ieskrienies, tad lido apmeram pii radianus un centies neieskriet koka - vai nav jautri?
