Cala Luna
This bay is well known at the natives and you can find it in allmost every tourist guidebook.
And by the way you will learn much about the flora and fauna of Sardenga on the way to the earthcache.

Sardinien hat zweifelsohne einige der schönsten Buchten des Mittelmeers zu bieten. Eine davon wollen wir euch mit diesem Earthcache näher bringen:
Cala Luna
Die Bucht ist bei Einheimischen wohl bekannt, in jedem Reiseführer, den wir bisher in den Fingern hatten, konnten wir die Bucht finden.
Von Gala Gonone aus könnt ihr die Bucht über 2 Wege erreichen: Der eine ist mit dem Boot oder Wassertaxi. Entweder ihr lasst euch rüber fahren ( kostet pro Person ca. 25€ hin und zurück) oder ihr mietet euch ein Boot und fahrt vorbei an Cala Fuili, weiter vorbei an der Grotti il Blue Marino und kommt schließlich zur Cala Luna. Der Weg ist aber nicht ganz so schön.
Viel mehr möchten wir euch den Landweg von Gala Gonone aus ans Herz legen.
Hier geht es über eine Straße, die schließlich am Cala Fuili endet. Hier gehts eine Treppe runter und dann über einen sehr schönen Pfad Richtung Cala Luna. Der Weg ist gut markiert ( grüne Pfeile am Boden an den Steinen ) und ist gut zu finden. Allerdings sei noch erwähnt das Hin- und Rückweg von Gala Gonone aus ca. 16,5 km und 900 HM ergeben.
Wen das nicht abschreckt, der bekommt die unberührte Natur von Sardinien auf dem Silbertablett serviert. Schließlich erreicht ihr einen Strand, der alle Erwartungen erfüllt. Türkiesblaues Wasser, feiner Sandstrand, viele Kletterrouten und genug Platz für alle. Ein Kaffee in Strandnähe hat Essen und Getränke, allerdings haben die nicht das ganze Jahr offen.
Besonders sind die Grotten, die vom Strand zu finden sind. Sie boren sich weit in den Felsen hinein und zeigen die Kraft des Meeres...!
Um den Cache loggen zu dürfen, müsst ihr folgendes machen:
1. Welche Höhe haben die ersten 2 Grotten zirka, die ihr erreicht, wenn ihr vom gesuchten Schild (siehe Foto) aus Richtung Steilküste geht?
2. Wo hat der Strand seinen Namen her (kleiner Tip: Ein Blick von oben auf die Bucht und schon wirds klar)?
3. Vor was wird auf dem Schild gewarnt und wann wurde es aufgestellt ( Datum letzte Zeile )
4. Wenn ihr wollt, macht ein Foto von euch am Strand und ladet es mit zum Log...! Damit auch andere die Schönheit des Earthcaches sehen. Weitere Bilder sind natürlich gerne gesehen.

There are 2 possible ways to reach Cala Luna from Gala Gonone:
One is by watertaxi or rental boot. Watertaxi will bring you to the beach and get you back ( costs approx. 25 € p.P ) or you drive the rental boat by yourself. The way is along Cala Fuilli then passing Grotto il blue Marino and then you will reach Cala Luna. This way is easier but not as beautifull as the walking-tour.
Much more we want to recommend you the landway.
It must be said that the hike is not the easiest so if you don’t feel up to it, or have young kids, then boat is the best option.
Follow the street which ends at Cala Fuili. Take the stairs down and follow the green markers to Cala Luna.. The path is easy to find , because many tourists visit Cala Luna each year. But be carefull, the way is rocky and don’t underestimate the altitude difference of 900m at this 8km (One-Way) Trip.
But the trouble pays...
a sea of dazzling turqoise, gently sloping sandy beach, nearly untouched nature of Sardenga, many possible climbing routes and enough space for everyone.
And you will also find the famouse caves that the sea formed into the rocks. Here you can see the power of the sea and nature.
To get log permission look send us the answers to the fowolling questions:
1. What is the rough height of the first 2 caves when you come from the sign (shown at the photo ) to the cliff line?
2. Where does the name of the beach come from ( Hint: Take a look from above and you will see)
3. What does the sign give you warning about and when was the sign positioned? ( you can read the date in the last line on the sign).
4. If you want take a photo of your team at the beach and add it at your log. All other photos are also welcome.
Sent the answers to the questions above per mail and you will get log permission...!

La Sardegna ha da offrire senza dubbio alcune delle più belle baie del Mediterraneo. Uno di loro, vogliamo portare più vicino alla Terra Cache:
Cala Luna
La baia è ben nota agli abitanti del luogo, in ogni libro guida fossimo stati nelle dita, potremmo vedere la baia.
Gala Gonone da che si può raggiungere la baia attraverso due vie: una è in barca o in taxi d'acqua. O ti permettono di andare oltre (per persona costa 25 € andata e ritorno) o si affitta una barca e passato drive Cala Fuili, si oltrepassa la grotta il Blue Marino e finalmente viene a Cala Luna. Ma la via non è così bello.
Molto più vorremmo porre a voi la terra di Gala Gonone dal cuore.
Questa è una strada che termina a Cala Fuili. In questo modo giù per una scala e poi un percorso molto bello verso Cala Luna. Il sentiero è ben segnalato (frecce verdi sul fondo delle pietre) ed è facile da trovare. Tuttavia, va ricordato il tragitto da e verso Gala Gonone di 16,5 km e 900 altitudine risultato.
Se questo non spaventa chi ottiene la splendida campagna della Sardegna, servita su un piatto d'argento. Infine si arriva a una spiaggia che soddisfa tutte le aspettative. acqua turchese-blu, spiaggia di sabbia fine, molte vie di arrampicata, e abbastanza spazio per tutti. Un caffè vicino alla spiaggia ha cibo e bevande, ma che non hanno tutto l'anno.
In particolare, le grotte, che si trovano dalla spiaggia. Siete nati anche nella roccia e mostrano la forza del mare ...!
Per registrare la cache potrebbe essere necessario effettuare le seguenti operazioni:
1. Che altezza sono le prime 2 grotte intorno a che si raggiunge quando si è alla ricerca per l'etichetta (vedi foto) dalla direzione di Cliff va?
2. Dove la spiaggia il suo nome al suo (suggerimento: Una vista dall'alto della baia ed è già chiaro) ha?
3. Prima che un'avvertenza sull'etichetta e quando è stato istituito (data ultima riga)
4. Se si desidera una foto di voi fa la spiaggia e caricarlo sul registro ..! In modo che gli altri vedono la bellezza delle cache Terra. Altre immagini sono naturalmente i benvenuti.
