Obec Brdo je zminovana poprve v roce 1350, kdy byli nemecti osadnici prirazeni k ubislavicke fare. Cesti obyvatele patrili k farte novopacke a zde byli i pohrbivani. Z roku 1529 je zapis o Rohaci z Brda, který jako psanec skodil v okolnich vesnicich. Po zruseni roboty se zacala obec rozsirovat. Obyvatele kaceli okolni lesy a zrizovali nova pole. Dnes jsou nektere chalupy pouzivany jako rekreacni objekty.

The village of Brdo was firstly recirded in 1350 when the Germansettlers were assigned to the vicarage in Ubislavice, The inhabitants of the Czech origin belonged to the vicarage in Nova Paka where they were burled. There is a record about Rohac of Brdo that being an outlaw harmed in the neighbouring villages. After the corvee abolishment the village started to develop. Then inhabitants cut the forests and set up new fields. Nowadays some of the cottages are used as summer houses.

Das Dorf Brdo wurde zum ersten Mal im Jahre 1350 erwahnt. Da waren die deutschen Ansiedler zur Gemeinde in Ubislavice. Die bohmischen Bewohner gehorten damals zur Gemeinde in Nova Paka und wurden sie auch begraben. Aus dem Jahre 1529 stammt ein Beleg von einem Verbannten Rohac von Brdo, der in herumliegenden Dorfern schadete. Nach der Aufhebung der Fronarbeit begann sich das Dorf erweitern. Die Bewohner haben herumliegende Walder abgeholzt und neue Felder gegrundet. Heute werden einige Bauernhauser als Erholungsgebaude genutzt.
