Geocache Description:

Not a cache and dash

THIS IS A NIGHT CACHE, that means it should be attempted in the DARK and you'll need a TORCH.

The above coordinates give a possible parking location for this cache, the cache is not there, does not give a clue or anything else in particular!
dark forest
This cache is located on part of the Taff Trail in the upper boat area. The trail in this area was upgraded at the end of last year and this section is tarmacked thought out, from your start point all the way to Nantgarw Hill and is very busy during the day with walkers and cyclists.  Don't worry though you wont be walking that far.
The
Taff Trail heads East and West from here but which way do you go?

Head to N51 35.157 W3 18.057 and you will start to see some reflective markers that you'll need to follow until you find two markers on adjacent posts, the cache is between the posts  ON THE OPPOSITE side of the path  hidden at knee hight in a tree.
Again the  above coordinates give the possible starting point, the cache is not there, does not give a clue or anything else in particular!

Wheelchair users will have no difficulty getting to the last two posts but will need some help retrieving the cache.

You should hold your torch or flash-light at eye level so that you get the maximum “back flash” from the reflectors. If you hold your flashlight too low, you will not benefit from the reflection coming back at you, or the reflectors will appear dim and you may miss them entirely.

You will be walking on a very good tarmacked path, I have tried to keep the reflectors easy to find just stay on the obvious path.

Remember to shine the torch all around you. Remember to bring equipment with you - this includes a mobile phone,  Spare batteries for GPS and torch, above all - HAVE FUN!!

Parking -  There is ample on street parking at the parking coordinates  DONOT PARK in the entrance to the trail.

Lets go caching
You are looking far a  small water tight container same size as a film pot.
Original contents including logbook, but no pencil.

Please replace carefully so that it stays hidden.
