Geocache Description:

St. Alban's Church was built 1907-10 by J D Coleridge. I plan to add some more info about the church but if you find out anything interesting while you're there please e-mail me and I'll add it!

1) The co-ordinates are for the War Memorial; how many 'Disney-Roebucks' fell in the Second World War? This is A.

2) Walk round to the left of the church, and find the graveyard out back. As you enter through the gate, look for a tall Celtic cross; the grave of Evelyn Diana who died on the 2B October 1919.

3) Now head North along the main path towards the far end and find a gravestone with a crucifix-shaped hole in it (the grave of Edgar Leuchars and his wife Rosina Sarah Matilda). She died on the 16th May 19D7 at Grayshott.

4) Head down the steps/slope along the fence line to the bottom row of graves and look for a military grave; that of A J Denyer, a drummer from the Royal Welch Fusiliers. His military number was 1072C.

5) Now in the Southern most corner of the graveyard down near the trees, find the gravestone (another Celtic cross) of Violet Octavia Pritchett who died on August 4th 19E.

6) Finally, on the way back to the graveyard entrance (on the left) is the grave of Florence May Bridger (who died on the day my dad was born!!) and her husband Charles William James Bridger. Charles died on June 10th 19FG.

Now you can calculate the position of the cache: N51° 0(B-A).DAG  W000°E.CFB

If anybody would like to expand this series please do, I would just ask that you could let sadexploration know first so he can keep track of the Church numbers and names to avoid duplication.
