1985 kunde man åka tåg (Svartåbanan) mellan Vintrosa och Örebro.
Numera finns det en asfalterad cykelväg på den gamla banvallen.
Vill man inte cykla, tar man sig snabbt in till Örebro via den nya
motorvägen E18 med bil eller buss.

Vintrosa is a small town in Örebro
County that is located approx. 15 km west of Örebro.
The village is mentioned in the 1300s as the Vintrusum, which is thought
to mean "place with cattle sheds for the winter". During the 1700s
it was written Vinteråsen and today
Vintrosa, a name which has
been added to Aftonbladet’s
Ten top list of place names such as the
public considers to be strange.
Until 1985 you could take the train (Svartåbanan) between Vintrosa and Örebro.
Today there is an asphalt bicycle path on the old railway
embankment. If you don’t feel for taking your bike, you get
quickly to Örebro via the new E18
motorway by car or bus.
