Geocache Description:

There has been a Church on the present site since the 12th century at least, possibly succeeding a Saxon Church of timber, but the nave and chancel were largely reconstructed in the late 1850s. The tower is dated at around 1380, and had a shingled spire until 1836 when it burnt down and was replaced later by the present battlements and pinnacles.

If anybody would like to expand this series please do, I would just ask that you could let sadexploration know first so he can keep track of the Church numbers and names to avoid duplication.
