The cache is located near the St. Sebastian Church, a beautiful and forgotten attraction of the free royal town of Wieliczka. High above the town on the neighboring hill out of the forest mist rises to surround the wooden tower of this ancient church. The construction church dates back to the 16th century and stands on the grounds of the former cemetery where victims of Black Death (12th to 15th century) were buried. The old trees surrounding the church create a unique atmosphere which takes you back to the time where only a few houses could be seen from the top of the hill. The place is so mysterious looking so no wonder ghost stories told by local women seem so true. Go to the outskirts of the town and discover the place for yourself. One mystery only the locals know about is on certain windy days the wind blowing across the organ pipes will make soft sounds as air enters through a small hole in the roof. Please Enter the chapel admire the stained glass windows and polychromic art. Walk around listen for the faint voices of those who lie under your feet on nights when the moon is full. Don’t forget why you are here. This is perfect for a scary night cache if you have the nerve.
