Geocache Description:

After a recent visit to Kent and the discovery of a SideTracked cache and placing our first cache – SideTracked Stiggy, we thought that we would incorporate a couple more stations
Potentially plenty of muggles around so care must be taken.

Please replace the cache exactly as found being careful that it re sticks properly. This is intended as a quick cache so as not to look too suspicious. You are looking for a Magnetic Nano, so you will need a pen. This cache is not on Railway property, (but pretty close)

The station is situated on the branch of the Birkenhead Railway from Hooton to Helsby which opened in 1863. The station itself opened on 1 July 1863, as Whitby Locks. It was renamed Ellesmere Port on 1 September 1870. Ellesmere Port became part of the Merseyrail network in 1994, when the line from Hooton was electrified and through train services to Liverpool's city centre via Birkenhead commenced.

Ellesmere Port railway station is located in the town of Ellesmere Port, Cheshire, England. It is the terminal station of two lines on separate rail networks.
•One of the termini of the Wirral Line of the Merseyrail network.
•The terminal of Northern Rail's Ellesmere Port to Warrington Bank Quay line.
Platform 1 serves the westbound Merseyrail electric services.
Platform 2 serves the infrequent eastbound Northern Rail diesel train services to Warrington Bank Quay via Helsby.

Good luck and have fun :-)
