The Higgins family was one of the first to settle in the Hornsby area going back as far as 1820. The area where the final cache is situated would have been a lovely secret spot enjoyed by the settlers over the years. Creeks in the area run year round and the valley is home to an amazing array of birdlife. Birds seen when setting up these caches included wonga pigeon, brown pigeon, king parrot, Eastern yellow robin, red-browed firetail, white throated treecreeper and several I couldn't readily identify along with the usual species and wallabies. The Higgins family is commemorated in the naming of Higgins Place in Westleigh which overlooks this valley. All the information you need to find this cache is contained in the first three caches in this series. Using the three sets of information you can determine the coordinates of the final WPT near the cache. You don't need the internet to work it out but if you failed maths at primary school you may need something else.
Please do NOT post any photos of the GZ area. Recommended access for this series is the fire trail at S33 42.586 E151 04.831. It may appear a long walk between caches but if you choose to drive between caches it's a much longer drive.
Congratulations to pjmpjm for the FTF and to norkmeister for being the first to do it all in one day. Special mention to Wandering Wilkos for the "missed it by that much" award.
